In July 2015, a baby of 18 months, Ali Dawabcheh, was burned alive while he was sleeping, after that incendiary devices had been launched against his house, the Duma, between Nablus and Ramallah in the west bank, palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967. Her father Saad and his mother, Riham, surprised them in their sleep, had succumbed to their injuries in the following weeks. Only the brother of the baby, Ahmed, then aged four years, has survived the drama.

A sentence not yet known
The sentence which has been condemned Amiram Ben-Ouliel, who was the main suspect in this case, is not known in the immediate future. The israeli organization Honenou, who has assisted in the defense of the defendant, indicated that it would apply to the supreme Court.
Amiram Ben-Ouliel has refused to testify during his trial and was sentenced on the basis of his confession during the interrogation.
