The French Federation of roller skating, and skateboarding has been questioned on its handling of sexual violence for several weeks.
The president of the French Federation of roller and skateboard mail carriers (rsmcs), Nicolas Belloir, has given his resignation Thursday night after the reviews on the case management of sexual assaults revealed in these sports. “The Federation has been questioned on its handling of sexual violence in roller skating, and skateboarding for several weeks, which led to the resignation of the president”, explained Hervé Lallement, the national technical director (DTN) of the rsmc work.

The DTN has also indicated that Nicolas Belloir had “an appointment with the Minister of Sports scheduled Tuesday march 10”. “A delegation of the Russian Federation should be received by the Minister”, he stressed.

Second officer to resign from a federation
This is the second officer to leave the presidency of a sports federation in the wake of revelations of sexual violence. Previously, Didier Gailhaguet, the head of the French Federation of ice sports (FFSG), was forced to resign on 8 February. According to the newspaper L’equipe, six complaints have been filed in recent weeks for acts of sexual violence in roller derby.
