from 10 September, the institutions of the world of the night will benefit from the exemptions for access to aid from the solidarity fund companies, put in place to deal with the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19. The criteria of turnover, number of employees, loss of income will no longer apply to companies in this sector in order “not to have a risk of closures of companies,” said Alain Griset.

representatives of The sector, the national Grouping of independent hotels and restaurants (GNI-UNHCR), the French association of operators of discotheques and dance halls (AFEDD), the Union of trades and industries de l’hotellerie (UMIH) and the national Union of discos and places of leisure (SNDLL) welcomed the taking into account of the difficulties of their companies. “The meeting was interesting, with a decision very fast that will allow us to take a few more weeks with this crisis,” said Michael Fox, of the GNI.
But the SNDLL note that “the content of the exchanges does not meet all of our demands,” including the highly anticipated reopening of the institutions. “Today, we are under the infusion, but it is not with the aid that we are going to get, it is essential that we be able to meet the minister of Health to find out how to re-open as soon as possible,” argued Michael Fox.
