Olivier Richefou is angry. The president of the Council for the département of the Mayenne river published Monday, a press release especially critical of the regional Agency of Health (ARS) pays de la Loire. “By continuing to publish the figures are alarmist, without perspective, and uncorrelated from the results of the other departments, the ARS continues to stigmatize even more the Mayenne in the eyes of the French,” says the elected official. “The strategy of the ARS, which turns to the stubbornness no longer represents the reality of the health department,” says Olivier Richefou.

According to the chairman of the department, “the evolution of these figures shows o how much we manage to control the health situation”. “In refusing to apply the two principles, however obvious of proportionality and necessity, the ARS confirms its willingness to make the Mayenne is an example ‘test’ in its management of the crisis”, he laments. “We redid the same time that the Chernobyl cloud, as if the virus was stationed at Mayenne.”
