The Interior minister announced the doubling of the patrols of gendarmes and police in transit “from today”.

Several measures will be taken to combat acts of delinquency “of a sharp increase in” in transit, including increased patrols by police and the widespread use of video surveillance, announced on Thursday the ministers of the Interior Gérald Darmanin and transport Jean-Baptiste Djebbari.
