The weather and the recent fires in the department are “conducive to the formation of ozone,” according to AtmoSud, the regional agency for monitoring of air quality. Open-Saturday-crossover on the roads, the prefecture of the Bouches-du-Rhône imposes a lowering of 20 km/h maximum speeds allowed (over 70 km/h) and the electrical connection to the quay of sea-going ships and river boats.
