Episode 230’s official trailer shows Shikadai questioning the mysterious ninja about the attack. He asks if he is also from the Land of Calm Seas. Mozuku is carrying the medication that is supposed to get him back to his homeland, Land of Calm Seas.

Shikadai Kawaki and Mozuku are told by the ninja that he doesn’t intend to let the package reach its destination. He states that he follows his employer’s instructions.

Given the complexity of the mission and Cho-Cho’s injuries, Shikadai may want to retreat and return to Hidden Leaf Village. It remains to be seen, however, if Kawaki or Mozuku feel the same way as Shikadai.

Kawaki is given one last chance to prove that he’s worthy of being a genin in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 229”. For a new mission, he was joined by Cho-Cho as well as Shikadai.

“Kawaki begins to believe that being an genin is not the right choice for him. The Seventh Hokage gives him one last chance and assigns him to join Shikadai, Cho-Cho and on a mission that protects Mozuku from the Land of Calm Seas and then escorts him back home. Will Kawaki be able cooperate with his comrades to complete the mission? Team 7 is currently on another mission, and they pass a group of ninjas …,” Crunchyroll has the official synopsis for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 229”.
