Kate Middleton’s “competitive nature” has been exposed by rugby player and fellow Royal family member announced as Prince Harry’s replacement as Patron of England rugby.
Mike, 43, claimed that the Duchess appeared “effortless” during her training sessions, but she has an unstoppable drive to succeed.
Kate was seen having a great time with England players at drills at Twickenham stadium last Wednesday, just hours after her confirmation as patron.
She donned the official outfit, wore her brunette locks in a ponytail and went about her business.
Mike, a father-of-three, admitted that he had been preparing to make fun of Kate during the Duchess’s visit on his rugby podcast The Good, the Bad and the Rugby.
Unfortunately, Mike was not impressed by Kate, who was the head coach of the team.
Megan explained to Megan how he got in touch to Ellis Genge, his England friend. He said, “I texte Ellis and asked her to tell me any mistakes she made so that I could sort of… Family WhatsApp group, get to them.”
He said that she was quite good and was very good at kicking. I laughed and was like …”, the rugby ace. She has a competitive nature that requires her to excel at certain things.
Alex commented, “She looked unbelievably natural,” James added that he was happy with the announcement as he knew that “Kate obviously loves her rugby.”
James continued: “But she caught the ball, her jumping in the line-out and the little outside break, it was absolutely fantastic. She was really, really really, really, very good.
“And so, I was like an amazing, dual sport ambassador.
Mike agreed that Kate did a great job getting stuck in and said, “Just imagine, any person who has ever tried it.
“If you have never been to the line-out before, it is difficult because you will kick the prop in either your face or the nuts as he lifts you. She just seemed effortless.”
The podcast host joked that “the best thing about it rolling to England and Wales, is we get the Battle of the Cambridges.”
