According to court documents obtained from Us Weekly, Costumer Jill Stager claimed that she suffered ” severe injuries and damages” when she fell through a hole at Paramount Studios in Los Angles.

According to the documents, the incident occurred on March 26, 2021 when Stager was “employed for this Is Us .”

According to the employee, the accident was caused by “general negligence” and “premises responsibility” on the studio’s part. She claimed that she suffered wage loss, hospital, and medical expenses, as well as general damage and loss in earning capacity.

Stager also claimed that she suffered “pain, suffering, and prejudgment interests” after the accident. This case is being listed as “an unlimited civil matter,” which means it has more than $25,000 in damages.

The costumer claimed that the studio kept “their premises” in an “unsafe condition.” She also stated that maintenance or repairs were done below Stage 3 , where the show was being filmed.

According to the documents, “A hole was made in the flooring or stage surface as part of this work.” “While [Stager] was on the stage surface, she fell into the hole. She sustained serious injuries and damages.”

According to the docs, she is seeking “compensatory damages” that will be determined “accordingly to the proof” of the accident.
