Downing Street said it was “extremely disappointed” on Monday with the treatment inflicted on the English supporters of Liverpool on Saturday during the Champions League final, repelled by the police near the Paris stadium where the match was played against the Real Madrid.
“The supporters deserve to know what happened,” added Boris Johnson’s spokesman, urging UEFA to “work closely with the French authorities in a full investigation” and publish the findings.
