The show is created by Ashley Lyle, Bart Nickerson. It follows a group of high school soccer players that are left stranded in Canada’s wilderness following a plane crash. The story of how they survived, 20 years later, continues to be fascinating and interesting.

Nickerson claims that the writers did not expect fans to be so invested trying to figure out where the show is heading.

He said that a part of him fantasizes about “Everyone’s going to love this thing that has been worked so hard on.” This was ahead of the finale of season 1 in January 2022. It’s been amazing to watch it all unfold, and to be able to tap into the creativity and talent online. These theories are complex, intricate, and meticulously researched. Although they aren’t correct, they are still very cool.

Lyle for her part found the interest to be “a little frightening” due to the pressure of providing worthwhile answers.

She noted that “I feel like the greater the engagement, the higher the expectations are, which can be a bit anxiety-producing.” “But my favorite part, as Bart mentioned, is the creativity. Not just the theories but also the incredible fan art. All of it is mys to buy. Right now, I’m a single woman in the cottage industry.

Former Narcos Mexico writer said that it was difficult for writers to feel they had finished a story. He explained, “I feel an instinctual reluctance just to answer it because you never, in your capacity as a storyteller want to close a door.” You never know what spark of inspiration may be waiting for you a few weeks later.

The co-creators revealed after season 1’s finale that Jackie’s ( Ella Purnell ) death was not twisted, but her interest in the character would allow her to live on.

“I think we can all agree that Jackie, as a person and as a symbol, is very important to many of these women, especially Shauna. I don’t believe that this will change in the future. Lyle stated that it was going to intensify. “I believe that this isn’t necessarily the last time we’ve seen Jackie. I’ll put it that way.

Yellowjackets were renewed for season 2 December 2021.

Continue reading to discover the most fascinating Yellowjackets theories in advance of its season 2 return.

The Cause of the Hallucinations

All survivors who survived the trauma of being stranded have experienced hallucinations. Some of the hallucinations seem to be related to the supernatural element from the woods. However, Screenrant suggests another explanation.

Cannibalism was introduced as a new method of eating human flesh. This could have caused memory loss and impaired thinking.

The Pit Girl’s Identity

The girl who died in the premiere was not Jackie. Viewers have tried to find out which survivor with dark hair is Mari ( Alexa Barajas). She was previously in a fight with Misty ( Christina Ricci, and Sammi Hannratty), who happily served the victim to her clan members in flashback.

Mari appears to be the only option based on appearances, with Lottie ( Courtney Eaton).

Adam Was In Reality Adult Javi

While the Yellowjackets creators confirmed that Adam ( Peter Gadiot ) wasn’t part of Lottie’s cult, many people have questions. Although he may have been a nice guy interested in Shauna ( Melanie Lynskey and Sophie Nelisse), there are many things that don’t add up.

Vulture suggested that Adam might be an adult Javi ( Luciano Leroux ) who was looking for a way to connect. Although his body has not been located since the flashbacks where he disappeared, it doesn’t mean he wasn’t there. He was eventually rescued with the rest of the rescuers.

Taissa is a part of the Cult

Present-day Taissa ( Tawny Cypress) appeared to be unaware of the darkness within her for most of season 1. Buil remarked that Taissa may have known more than she thought about her political win.

Perhaps Taissa joined Lottie’s cult in the woods, or later, and created the altar in her basement to sacrifice herself for her own achievements.

Poor Biscuit.

Jackie’s Dream Was the in-Between

Jackie died after Shauna and her mysterious dream. Jackie’s greatest wish, acceptance, was finally realized when “The Hunter” ( William Charles Vaughn ) appeared.

Jackie was told by him that they were waiting for her. This could have been a clue that he was the spirit from the dead body that was waiting to be taken. Van ( Liv Hewson), a person who is open-minded about the supernatural, suggested to Taissa [ Jasmin Svoy Brown] that she had ended up in a limbo known as the “in-between” prior to being rescued from the attack by the wolf.

There are more than one Faction in the Woods

Season 1’s premiere showed all survivors coming together to form a tribalistic, cult. What if everyone wasn’t on board?

Some characters, including Shauna and Misty, have expressed a preference for meat in the present. Since returning from the woods, Taissa ( Juliette Lewis) and Natalie ( Sophie Thatcher ) have shown their disgust for meat.

The Faith of Shauna’s Baby

Reddit viewers have noticed that Shauna dreams of eating her unborn baby, which she transforms into different food groups. Because Shauna and Jeff ( Warrenkole and Jack Depew only have Callie( Sarah Desjardins ) as their offspring she must have lost her baby while she was still in the woods.

Shauna might have miscarried, but the introduction of cannibalism is a different theory.

The Queen of Antler

Although it is clear that Lottie assumed the Antler Queen role, Yellowjackets have not confirmed this on-screen. Season 1 saw Lottie slowly grow in her thirst for power. Season 2 ended with Van and Misty supporting Lottie as she appealed the spirits of the woods.

Lottie is alive and well today, so it’s possible that the reign of Antler Queen continued into the Canadian wilderness.

Could Van and Taissa be Endgame?

“It is an honor to be a representative of the LGBTQ+ community. I am part of the umbrella. “My son is under the umbrella,” Tawny said to Entertainment Tonight in February 2022. She gushed about the younger version her character’s relationship, with Van (Liv Hewson), and how she felt. “And, you’d know, in my 25 year career, I’d estimate half of the characters I’ve played have been lesbians. This is something I love to do and bring to life onscreen.”

Fans have seen both Van and Taissa’s younger versions (Jasmin Svoy Brown), but it is not known where Van will end up in the future timeline.

Sammi Hanratty, the younger Misty, said that she also wants an adult Van. “I am excited to see what all that happens. Because we did all the wolf stuff together, it was intense. I love working with Liv.
