Paramount has provided the following synopsis: Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock), a brilliant, but reclusive author, is abducted by Daniel Radcliffe (Daniel Radcliffe), hoping that he can take her to the treasure of an ancient city. Alan decides to rescue Loretta, hoping to prove that he is a true hero in real life. The unlikely couple will have to team up to survive in the jungle and locate the treasure before it is lost forever.

The film stars a few of your favorite comedy characters, including Da’Vine joy Randolph (“High Fidelity”) and Oscar Nunez (“The Office”) as well as Patti Harrison (“Together Together”) and Bowen Yang (“Saturday Night Live”) There’s even a Brad Pitt cameo.

Entertainment Weekly spoke to Bullock about her close relationship with Tatum during filming in Dominican Republic earlier this year. It was almost like they were long-lost siblings. The Oscar winner explained that she doesn’t know if it was because they’ve been locked up in their homes so long. But if you can sit down in a quiet room and laugh, even if the other person is not laughing, it makes it so much easier.

Tatum suggested that there could be comparisons to “Romancing the Stone”, which features Kathleen Turner as a romance writer who is challenged by the whims of the Colombian jungle. They don’t make movies like this anymore. “This is kind of one of those moments where we try to find a new movie of this genre… This is an entirely unique and original story,” Tatum stated.
