So close we can almost taste it! MTV dropped the first trailer for season two The Hills: New Beginnings on Tuesday, April 13, and inhibitions have absolutely been released.
Us Weekly affirmed in March 2020 which Kristin Cavallari, that was an original cast member on The Hills, would go back to the reboot for a cameo.
Even though a source informed Us at the time the Quite Cavallari alum, 34, would appear in”just 1 episode,” fans were thrilled to see her in the trailer — though only for a moment.
“Kristin Cavallari coming back into The Hills is the antidepressant I needed today,” one fan wrote through Twitter after the trailer was released.
Earlier this month, the most Uncommon James designer told Us only that her return to the show was not dramatic.
“No drama, at least not about me,” she said April 1. “I filmed one episode. So what would you really do? But it was so much fun. I had such a great time. It was like no time had passed and I am really happy I managed to do it.”
Perhaps most shockingly, Audrina, 35, allow it to slip in the trailer which she’d kissed longtime friend Brody Jenner. Though little information was provided concerning the smooch, it looks like 37-year-old Brody’s relationships will feature heavily in the new year.
“I’ve hurt a great deal of people I love,” the self-proclaimed”Prince of Malibu,” says at the start of the trailer. “And that is not the Brody that I wish to be.”
The Los Angeles native subsequently proceeds to examine his split with ex Kaitlynn Carter and cuddle an unknown woman in a tub.
“Following a year of lockdowns and missing time, the casting of Hollywood’s most iconic friend group is reuniting. This year finds them in a crossroads and their lives analyzed like never before,” MTV wrote in a statement. “While some struggle with the financial strains from the global pandemic and rebuilding businesses, others are digging through rugged relationships, struggling with addiction in addition to their mental and physical wellness. From a highly-publicized divorce and rekindling prior fires to starting new households and surprise pregnancies, all bets are off this season.”
The Hills: New Beginnings premieres on MTV May 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
