ITT more than three months

On November 7, 2017, an elderly man, 27-year-old arrested for contempt in the district of Val Fourré had been manacled hands against a defective heater to the inside of a police van taking him to the police station, causing severe burns to the second and third degrees. The victim has since undergone two skin grafts and a total incapacity to work (ITT) of more than three months has been prescribed for her.

His lawyer Calvin Job assured to have the intention to request a recharacterization of the facts, which according to him cannot be reduced to simple “manslaughter”. “Someone who shouts and that we don’t hear, it is not far from being torture,” he said. “There are a lot of elements in this folder that show that there are things that don’t turn round”, he added, specifying that he was no longer considering requesting a re-enactment not to slow down the folder.
