This new agency, with “own budget”, will be created when the states general on the protection of the child, 20 November next.
This is a new organization, created to try to protect children from assault and sexual violence : the secretary of State for Children and Families, Adrien Cleat, has announced the creation to the fall of an “independent commission on sexual abuse of children”, in an interview with the Sunday Newspaper.
This instance, “with its own budget, will be made up of judges, physicians, psychologists, and sociologists”, on the model of the one established by the catholic Church, says Adrien Cleat. It will be created when the states general on the protection of childhood, which should give rise to measures by November 20.

“Our model is the commission Saved on the crimes around children in the Church. This new independent body will be focused mainly on the family circle, which concentrates 80?% of violence, and must first provide us with a better understanding of the phenomenon”, he says.

For Adrien Cleat, “it is necessary that we stated clearly, as a society, that the impunity of sexual relations with minors, it is finished. It is too easy to say that Matzneff, this is the story of an era, of an environment or an area of Paris, a man. The real question we should be asking ourselves, which is why it has took them thirty years to get out, while many knew”.

Adrien Tab indicates that a bill will be presented “in 2021” in order to establish a “body of pilotage unified, including the State, the departments that are in charge of child welfare for the past thirty years, and associations” in order to better address disparities in the care of children in danger.
