The benefits of canola oil: low in saturated fat, a lot of Oleic acid, rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. This makes it super healthy. An analysis of the household panel of the society for consumer research has found that the market share of rapeseed oil is 41 percent. In 2017, the Germans bought around 78 million litres of rapeseed oil. Much more so than sunflower or olive oil.
Stiftung Warentest has refined 13 and 10 cold-pressed. The verdict: 21 out of the 23 Oils are good. Especially the refined rapeseed oils offer reliable quality, so the Tester.
