“I was not happy with my own body and what I could accomplish only working out and didn’t feel like myself,” that the Good Bones sponsor , 36, tells Us Weekly exclusively. Back in December, she got a tummy tuck, liposuction and breast implants, something many consider to be the”mommy makeover” bundle — and she is proud of it. During her pregnancies, she developed diastasis recti, which created a four-and-a-half inch of separation between her abs.

So, she did what she wanted to make herself feel stronger and more confident — and encourages others to do the same, if that is what they desire.

It’s fine to be selfish sometimes,” Hawk, who shares kid Charlotte, 4 months, and son Jack, two, together with husband Steve Hawk, states. “Whether it is operation or even a push-up bra or eyelash extensions, Spanx, a spray tan — do it. Anything that makes you feel strong and powerful and beautiful.”

Before the operations, the HGTV celebrity was approximately 160 lbs. And currently weighs approximately 148 lbs. Regardless of the changes to her own body, she never ceased working.

“I was performing land checks while I had my drain and bags attached,” that the realtor notes with a laugh. “For a couple of months, I had to be super careful with picking up Jack and Charlie and probably did too much too soon. Nevertheless, it didn’t have a huge effect on me as a mother.”

The reality star, that just released a brand new children’s novel about inclusivity, has a huge social media existence but despite her thousands of followers, she faces a bit of hate in the comments section — and does her best to ignore it.

“Many people who say or do unkind things do it because they’re hurting in some way, therefore I do my best to keep that in mind,” Mina says of the trolls.
