ROLLING STONES. To celebrate its 60-year career and bid farewell, the legendary Rolling Stones group is passing through France for two concerts.

The day after this concert in Lyon, it is in Paris, at the ParisLonchamps racecourse, that the Rolling Stones will perform for their second and last date of this anniversary tour, the group is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary, but also, farewell . This 14-date European mini-tour, dubbed Sixty (“Sixty”), will end on August 3 in Berlin.

Among the two concerts announced in France, the Rolling Stones will be in Paris on July 23, 2022! Or more precisely at the Paris-Longchamps racecourse, at the gates of the capital. The concert will take place after the Lollapalooza Festival, reports Le Parisien. “It’s going to be historic, there is no bigger group in the world. We are staying on the Lollapalooza Festival site, which ends on the 17th, explains to the daily Angelo Gopee, general manager of Live Nation France, which produces this date. We are going to keep all the infrastructure, the wine and champagne bars, the restaurants. We are also going to set up free shuttles from the gates of Auteuil and Maillot. And for good reason, the last time the Rolling Stones performed in Paris was in October 2017, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Paris-La Défense Arena. The group’s Parisian concert is sold out, as was the case only a few days after the opening of the ticket office.
The first of the two dates planned by the Rolling Stones in France took place in Lyon, on Tuesday July 19, 2022. A salvo of 14 concerts, in 10 countries, baptized Sixty, in reference to the sixty-year career of the legendary group. The tour kicks off June 1 in Madrid, Spain and will take Mick Jagger, Keith Richard and Ronnie Wood to Stockholm on July 31, 2022. The Stones will also visit Germany, Munich, the Netherlands, Amsterdam , Milan in Italy, London in the United Kingdom and Brussels, in Belgium. The Rolling Stones will also perform in the city of another legendary group, the Beatles, at Liverpool’s Anfield stadium.
