The drummer was not able to be revived by a medical professional. Shortly after, the patient was declared dead. The city launched an investigation into the death to confirm the protocol.
Hawkins’ passing was confirmed by the “Everlong” band, which includes members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.
“The Foo Fighters are devastated by our tragic and untimely death of our beloved Taylor Hawkins,” The band stated in a tweet. His infectious laughter and musical spirit will always be with us. Hawkins is survived Alison Hawkins , his wife and their three children, Oliver (Annabele), Everleigh.
