Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian were side by mom Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, at a Los Angeles courthouse Monday, April 18 as potential jurors were interviewed before being placed on the panel for this upcoming trial.

The 33-year old model was present as her lawsuit against former stars of Keeping Up with the Kardashians got underway. Rob Kim Kardashian was absent from Monday’s proceedings. Rob, split with Chyna back in 2017. Dream , Dream’s 5-year-old sister, is shared by the exes.

Kardashian-Jenner Family’s Biggest Scandals and Controversies

Chyna is seeking “millions of dollars in compensatory or punitive damages” from Kris (66), Kim (41), Khloe (37), and Kylie (24). This is in response to “defamation”, “intentional interference with contract, and intentional interference in prospective economic advantage,” Lynne Ziani stated in an October 2020 statement.

The suit, originally filed in 2017, was based on the women’s interference with Chyna & Rob’s reality series, Rob. It was placed on hold that year, and was never re-enacted.

“Chyna is thrilled that she will get her day in Court,” Ciani stated previously, claiming that her client was “permanently injured” by the Kardashian-Jenner family.

The Kardashians moved to dismiss the suit, but a judge rejected the motion in October 2020. This was based on “substantial Evidence” submitted by Chyna. She claimed that unaired footage was to be used for season 2.

The “Cash Only” rapper doubled her claims against her ex-fiancee’s family, tweeting about her plans for holding them accountable for the cancellation Rob and Chyna.

“When they got my #1 hit TV show killed back January 2017, that not just hurt me financially, but also emotionally, that also hurt my beautiful KIDS,” she posted via social media on April 2,. “I am taking them to court in order to defend my legal rights and be an example for my children that ‘what is right is right,’ and what they did was wrong.

Chyna stated that she is so thankful that a jury will finally hear what actually happened behind closed doors — all the lies and the damage that has been done.”

She said, “At the conclusion of the trial I’m going be able to proudly say King and Dream that everything I did was to correct the wrong that was done. It is my hope that, in real life, they will also be able stand up for themselves when it comes to it.”
