The German actress Anna Schudt has won at the International Emmy Awards in the category best actress: Schudt was sufficient for their work in the RTL-production “A sniff would have” awarded in the TV movie, she plays the comedian Gaby Köster. Which was, among other things, with Rudi Carrells RTL-Show “7 days, 7 heads” and the series “Rita’s world”; in 2008, she had suffered a stroke. In her autobiography, Köster describes how she fought her way then back to life.
“Gaby, we have finally made it to New York,” said Schudt now at the award ceremony in a New York Hotel in the direction of Tempobet the in the audience seated comedienne. “I love you so much.”

Schudt won in the category “Best actress” against Emily Watson from the UK, Thuso Mbedu from South Africa, and Denise vineyard from Brazil.
At the International Emmy Awards, with prizes in 13 categories. The main prize of best drama series, the production of “La Casa de Papel” (“The house of money”), which runs in Germany, the streaming service Netflix won.
From Germany, the WDR-production had been “dead angle” as the best TV movie/mini-series nominated. The Film with Herbert Knaup and Hanno Koffler was defeated but the British Drama “Man in a Orange Shirt”. The BBC production tells the family story of a gay grandfather.
In the past year, Germany had won with “the family brown” one of the TV prices.
