Betty White and Joan Rivers were a hilarious match.
White, who died Dec. 31, at the age 99, was a beloved celebrity in Hollywood. Fans have shared many highlights of her career, including a hilarious clip where Rivers interviewed White during an episode of The Tonight Show in 1983.
Rivers, who was 81 years old, died in 2014. White, on the other hand, immediately started ripping Rivers for her recent PEOPLE cover story.
Rivers asked, “Just a little jealous of the old cover?” Rivers was curious.
“You’d think that you were the only girl who was covering for the town. Did you know I was a cover girl? White responded.
Rivers replied, “I’m surprised but probably yes,” before White pulled out a magazine that featured Rivers on the cover, posing with a dog.
“And if it’s possible, you might ask: “Who’s the other bitch on that cover?” She teased, adding later, “I will never speak to your again for as long I live.”
Rivers tossed the magazine aside and turned to White’s outfit choice. Rivers said, “I asked to you come on tonight and make it glamorous. Look at what you wore.”

“I think that understated is more classy than all the other stuff all over the place. It’s just absurd. You can find them on every item. Are they all going in the opposite direction? The Golden Girls alum stated.
