Emmett, 50 shared a glimpse at the celebrations with an Instagram Story video featuring Childers, 33, holding their baby on Tuesday, March 15. He captioned the video, “Ocean getting Love from Everyone” and included the caption, “Ocean getting Love From Everyone”. The You alum is joined in the footage by Rylee, 8, and London, 11.
Childers and the Florida native were married between 2009 and 2017. The director proposed to Lala Ken in September 2018, one year after the divorce was finalized. Emmett and Kent, 31 , welcomed Ocean in March 2021.
The Ray Donovan alum made headlines earlier when she called Kent out for sharing photos of Emmett and her children. In August 2019, the Arizona native posted via Instagram, “Since I don’t want you to answer my texts messages, I’ll attempt here,” she wrote. “Lala, thank you for your love and support of my children. But, until you are officially their stepmother, please do not post my children on social networks!” I trust you will understand my point of view. Many thanks.
Two years later, Bravo personality caused breakup speculation by removing all traces from Emmett’s social media. Us Weekly announced that had ended their engagement in November 2021.
Kent addressed the issues she had ignored in her relationship to Emmett.
“Randall was never home. He always claimed that it was work-related, and he was always on the phone. “It was constant on his phone, but I didn’t even register the device,” the Utah native claimed in the season 9 Vanderpump Rules reunion. “I knew Randall wasn’t who I thought he was. I thought I knew he was loyal. This was all I wanted. Because I knew how dudes were and I trusted him. ‘”
The Give Them Lala author also praised Childers, while acknowledging their “very bumpy” past. Kent shared his feelings about Childers during an appearance on Watch what Happens Live with Andy Cohen. She is a wonderful woman and a great mother. She is, I’ll be honest with you — the best thing to ever happen to this guy.
Kent stated that she was hurt after her split with Childers. She added, “I think the way he and me came to be, looking back at it, was so disgusting and messy and just something built on lies.” Based on what I know, I believe she was a good woman and he made mistakes.
