Australia will be without playmaker Tom Rogic for their World Cup play-off against the United Arab Emirates on June 7 in Doha, the Australian Football Federation announced on Tuesday.
The winner of this meeting will face Peru on June 13 to join Group D at the World Cup-2022 at the end of the year in Qatar with France, world champion, Denmark and Tunisia.
The Celtic Glasgow midfielder (53 caps) withdrew for personal reasons, according to the Federation.
