The Wimbledon draws have been unveiled with Carlos Alcaraz in the same part of the draw as Holger Rune. Novak Djokovic finds himself with Sinner. In women, Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur and Elena Rybakina can play before the final.

The women’s and men’s draws were made this Friday, June 30 at Wimbledon. The world number 1 Carlos Alcaraz therefore finds himself in the part of the table of Holger Rune which he can find in the quarter-finals. The other potential quarter of this first half of the table is that between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev. In his quest for the 24th Grand Slam and 8th Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic will have Andrey Rublev, Jannik Sinner and Casper Ruud on his way.

Most of the French were spared by this rather favorable draw except for Jérémy Chardy who will inherit as soon as he enters the running, world number 1, Carlos Alcaraz. As at Roland-Garros, Arthur Fils will play his first match against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. Qualifier Laurent Lokoli will come in front of Casper Ruud with a few encounters in the legs while the Norwegian favored rest. There will also be 100% tricolor duels. Benjamin Bonzi and Harold Mayot have an appointment like Alexandre Muller and Arthur Rinderknech. The winner of this match could also challenge the native of El Palmar in the second round.

On the women’s side, Iga Swiatek could find Coco Gauff in the quarterfinals. The French Caroline Garcia is also in the world number 1 part of the table alongside Jessica Pegula seeded 4. The second half of the table is undoubtedly more raised with Ons Jabeur, Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka or even Petra Kvitova and Karolina Pliskova who can be played before the final.

Among the tantalizing first rounds will be an All-American duel between Sofia Kénin and Coco Gauff. Defending champion Elena Rybakina will challenge Shelby Rogers. Returning to the field at over forty, Venus Williams will face another returnee, Elina Svitolina. Maria Sakkari will not have an easy first match against Marta Kostyuk while the French number 1 Caroline Garcia will challenge Katie Volynets. The new Blue Varvara Gracheva will have to defeat Camila Giorgi before a potential second round against Aryna Sabalenka.

At Wimbledon, the official program for each day, available on the official website, can sometimes be turned upside down. Indeed, if the schedule for the start of the day is quite clear, it is very difficult to count on the exact time of the end of the matches. The main constraint for the organizers remains the weather where the rain can thwart the holding of the matches. Indeed, two courts (the “Center Court” and court n°1) have a retractable roof that can accommodate matches in the event of “capricious” weather.
