After its closed beta, Diablo 4 opens its doors this weekend for an open beta to all players. We take stock of this free trial period.

Once again, the struggle between good and evil forces us to take to the roads of Sanctuary. Diablo 4, awaited as the Messiah since 2012 and the release of its predecessor, is finally available for two weekends of beta. If the first was only open to players who pre-ordered the game, the second will be open to everyone, free of charge. We take stock of this major event just below.

When does the Diablo 4 beta start?

This Diablo 4 beta period is a bit special since it will be divided into two two-day sessions. The first, exclusively reserved for players who have pre-ordered the game, will be held from this Friday, March 17 on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. The second, on the other hand, will be open to all, and will begin on March 24. To join the Diablo 4 beta early access, you will therefore need to have already pre-ordered the game. You will find it for sale on the Battle.net site.

To access the first part of the Diablo 4 beta on March 17, there are not thirty solutions, you will need to have pre-ordered the game on your platform. It will be available on PC via Battle.net, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as Playstation 4 and Xbox One. You can find it at the best price just below. Of course, the game will also be available in a Digital Deluxe version and in an Ultimate version, both including early access to the game’s release next June, a season pass and various cosmetics. You can find them for sale on the game’s official website. On the other hand, everyone will be able to access the game’s open beta on March 24.

Diablo 4 intends to immerse us once again in a brilliant mythological fresco in the heart of Sanctuary, once again addressing the themes of the fight against good and evil now embodied by Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto. During the game’s beta, players will have access to the prologue and its entirety of Act I. Characters will be able to reach level 25 and collect in-game rewards, but will unfortunately be removed when the beta ends on March 26 at 9 p.m.

During this beta, players will have access to five classes that will be a core part of the Diablo 4 experience. These include The Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Thief, and Witch. Well-defined and recurring archetypes in the world of role-playing games and which have also long been the identity of Diablo games. If you want to learn a little more about each of these classes, their skills and their particularities, we invite you to consult our detailed guide of the classes to choose in Diablo 4, just below.
