Removing stains like tomato sauce from plastic containers can seem impossible. The solution is actually very simple and is completely free.
Plastic storage boxes are essential in our kitchens for storing and preserving food, or for taking delicious meals to eat at the office. But even when you clean them well or put them in the dishwasher, they end up with stubborn food stains. Of course, it’s not serious, these traces are not harmful, but it doesn’t look very clean. So very often, we keep the containers at the back of the cupboard, and we forget about them. If you too have tried: soaking them overnight, rubbing them with white vinegar, baking soda and even liquid bleach, but traces of sauces remain on your containers, you will love this one miracle solution. It’s simply sunshine and nothing more. Simply place your containers in direct sunlight for several hours and wait. The sun will naturally fade some of the color and also eliminate any lingering odors.
