Plunged into the dark, finally, into a fictional darkness, the actors of Black Comedy manage to simulate their blindness, all in full light. It all starts with a misunderstanding, conducive to the greatest pranks. A sculptor (Arthur Jugnot) and his wife (Mélanie Page) borrow furniture from their neighbor in order to impress an art collector who is supposed to visit them. Only here, everything could have been pinned without a hitch, but, (unfortunately for them, fortunately for the plot!), a power cut comes to complicate things and make the characters evolve in an imaginary half-light. A fantasy and an astonishing staging for this play by the English Peter Shaffer taken over here by Camilla Barnes and Bertrand Degrémont. “Black Comedy”, until June 4, at the Splendid (Paris 10th).

At the end of the 1960s, television experienced its heyday. Three announcers find themselves stuck in front of the camera without any proof of the retransmission of their show. From the morning show to the evening show, they try by all means to furnish. However, that day was to be a great day, the one during which the TV was supposed to adorn itself with its most beautiful colors. A wacky comedy where we recognize the paw of Pierre Dac. A tribute paid with finesse and song, of which Léonie Pingeot has the secret.

Shakespeare as if it were raining. In her finest attire too! Intertwined family stories, misunderstandings, disguises and misunderstandings: the still unequaled recipe for a very good show. When you add to that a cast of choice led by a Barbara Schulz at her best, all the ingredients are there to honor the still modern and funny words of the most famous of English playwrights. We owe this successful tribute to Pierre-Alain Leleu for the adaptation and Léna Bréban for the very chiadé staging which gives As you please (written in the 16th century!) the appearance of fairy tales. The piece has just received no less than four Molières, including that of best actress for Barbara Schulz. Enchanting!

The music they master, are from all repertoires of all styles to revive Schubert’s emblematic aquatic creature. Sometimes between acrobatics, concert and musical comedy, the joyous band of five from Accordzéâm come together in a hybrid show. Celtic music, Corsican polyphonies, tango or jazz, all genres come together and put the public in tune in a show smoothly conducted and directed by Eric Bouvron. Never short of surprises, the musicians play as many notes as they play comedy and their instruments do not hesitate to give them the answer. A creation to see with the family from the age of seven.

Berlin 1980s, Werner Hofmann is a Stasi agent. He hires Emma a caregiver to take care of his sick mother. The latter hastens to accept but the decision is self-serving… she wishes to escape to the west with her fiancé Ludwig and the apartment of the German intelligence agent would have a secret passage. Starting from an already complicated situation, the play will get bogged down in misunderstandings and twists against the backdrop of the Cold War. A success in the genre that we owe to Patrick Haudecoeur and Gérald Sibleyras awarded the Molière for best actor for Maxime d’Aboville and best comedy. Just that !

Three children summoned by their parents, like a reminiscence of their early years, patiently wait in the family living room for the sentence to which they will be subjected. However, the years passed and the three toddlers became (almost) accomplished adults. The serious hour, they feel it well. What will their dear parents tell them? Drama or happy news? Count especially for a rebound which will come to disturb the family balance. A hit comedy by Emmanuel and Armelle Patron Pierre to see urgently.
