the Emergency services on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, and a search was held all around the eastern scheldt storm surge barrier which, presumably, is a person in the water and was lost.
The search was 23.25 hours, started around the Storm surge barrier in between Vrouwenpolder and the Delta works. Two of the KNRM-lifeboats have been called out. Also, there were two ambulances and a trauma helicopter after the alarm to the Delta works, sent.
A helicopter of the Dutch coast guard came in at around 00.15 hours, still on the ground. This is a direct search on top of the Bar.
It is not clear how the person in the water has taken place.
