[Updated 30 September 2022 11.48am] The start of the Singapore Grand Prix this Sunday promises to be epic with world title favorite Max Verstappen relegated to 8th place on the starting grid due to a mistake by his team Red Bull in qualifying on Saturday. Fearing an insufficient quantity of petrol in the single-seater of its reigning world champion colt, the Austrian team deprived him of a fast last lap and potentially of a pole position, which goes to Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) in front Sergio Perez (Red Bull). This weekend is highly anticipated as F1 returns to Singapore after a two-year absence due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
