Casper Ruud, world No.8, got his ticket to the round of 16 at Roland-Garros this Saturday. In difficulty against Lorenzo Sonego (35th player in the world), the Norwegian was first led two sets to one (6-2, 6-7, 1-6). But the 23-year-old tennis player had to find the necessary resources to win the fourth and fifth sets 6-4, 6-3 and thus win the match in 3:24.
This is the first time that Casper Ruud has reached the round of 16 at Roland-Garros. He will be opposed to the Pole Hubert Hurkacz (13th player in the world), who eliminated Goffin in three sets.
