Tickets for the Olympics are being sold out, but there are still places left.
A few months before the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, ticketing is still available to as many people as possible. Regularly, and until the start of the Olympic Games, surprise sales phases on a discipline may be put on sale. This was the case at the beginning of March with a campaign for athletics events.
On Wednesday April 17, a new phase will be launched on the official Paris 2024 Ticket Office website: tickets.paris2024.org. More than 250,000 tickets for the Olympic Games will be on sale on this occasion, across all sports on the program and across all sessions! This will be the last ticket sale before the Games offering all Olympic sports.
Several tickets are also distributed free of charge, particularly for the opening ceremony. In total, no less than 220,000 tickets are available, distributed by the Organizing Committee, the State and the City of Paris which should distribute 139,000 places between them. A quota of 74,000 places would be reserved to allow local authorities to distribute invitations. Note also that 5,000 places could go to local residents close to the opening ceremony. Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra also announced that the 3,263 students who will have to vacate their accommodation at CROUS would be given a place for the opening ceremony.
