Fifth round of the MotoGP world championship currently dominated by the Italian Francesco Bagnaia, the French Grand Prix, scheduled this weekend at Le Mans, is also the 1000th in the history of the discipline. On the legendary Sarthe circuit, the race promises to be exciting with an expected outcome on Sunday around 3 p.m. The French Fabio Quartararo and Johan Zarco, respectively 11th and 9th in the championship after four events, will be keen to shine in front of the French public. On Saturday, Quartararo was again unlucky in the sprint race, victim of a fall when he was in 8th place, still plagued by serious difficulties keeping pace with the best on the handlebars of a suffering Yamaha M1.
Place at the “real” Grand Prix this Sunday, May 14 after the sprint race on Saturday. The day will start with the warm-up from 9:45 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. The start of the Grand Prix in the MotoGP category is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The French Motorcycle Grand Prix will be followed on Canal, the usual broadcaster of the world championship, but also free on the C8 channel (TNT). Free practice, qualifying and the sprint race will be broadcast exclusively on Canal 360 on Friday and Saturday, the race, which will start at 2 p.m. (French time) in Le Mans, will be co-broadcast on Canal and C8.
