By winning against Austria, the French team reached the last four of the Euro handball tournament.
As a boss! The French handball team brilliantly qualified for the semi-finals of the European Championships this Monday evening by dominating a valiant Austrian team. Hanging on at half-time, the Blues managed to move up a notch to gain the upper hand and therefore qualify for the semi-finals. Even assured of finishing first in their group before the last match of the main round, the Blues will challenge Sweden, second in the other group, in the semi-final on Friday in Cologne. A major opponent since the Swedes are quite simply the title holders.
