This Wednesday, March 15 will be a new day of national mobilization against pension reform. Where are the main gathering places?

[Updated March 13, 2023 at 5:11 p.m.] Act 8 this Wednesday, March 15. This day will again be an opportunity for opponents to take to the streets against the pension reform. The date chosen in the calendar is not insignificant because corresponds to a new stage in the legislative examination, the passage of the reform in a joint joint committee which will bring together 7 deputies and 7 senators. A legislative procedure which is therefore moving at high speed, which will not be the case for trains which should, for the most part, always be at a standstill.

Thus, on March 15, in addition to the extension of the strike movements, the demonstrations will resume throughout the country until the withdrawal of the reform, warn the unions. “Our fight is that the text does not pass and if it passed, it would be endangering democracy”, warned the secretary general of the CGT on BFMTV.

As usual, some unions are preparing an interactive map with the places of events planned in the country like the CGT. The CFDT also communicates a map grouping the places of gatherings planned in France.

All the gatherings are not yet fixed but here is the list of the main meeting points this Wednesday, March 15:

This list is completed as the unions release the places of gatherings such as Paris which is still being validated.

As usual, the Lyon demonstrators will leave the Manufacture des Tabacs, walking in a straight line along the Cours Gambetta, will cross the Guillotière bridge to reach the terminus: Place Bellecour, Lyon Capitale specified. On Tuesday March 7 between 25,000 and 50,000 people were present.

The Marseillais will leave at 10:30 a.m. from the Old Port of the city as at previous events. On March 7, the unions and authorities put forward figures that widened a significant gap in participation: 30,000 people for the police against 245,000 for the unions.
