The Watch what Happens Live with Andy Cohen host, 53 years old, asked the Selling Sun star, 40, questions about her legal agreements. Hartley, 45, was Stause’s partner for six years. Their divorce was finalized in January 2021 more than one year after their initial split.

Cohen asked Stause during Tuesday’s episode of HTMLHL.

The Most Talkative author demanded a reply. “Uh, I plead for the fifth!” Stause nervously giggled as she sipped her cocktail.

Cohen took that reply as a response. Cohen interpreted that response as an answer.

As she shifted in her chair, the real estate agent appeared uncomfortable. Stause stated, “I don’t believe I’m allowed to answer that question.” She signed a nondisclosure contract, according to the Bravo producer .

An Us Weekly insider exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that they had not signed a prenup but that their financial agreements would not be public.

“Both of the parties reached a confidential settlement regarding terms of the divorce, including support for spousal support,” a source said to Us January 2021.

Cohen asked if Stause had ever watched Hartley’s hit NBC series, now in its sixth and final seasons. She replied “Not anymore”, confirming that she used This is Us to watch regularly.

Although the Real Housewives executive producer could not get enough information on the prenup but he did get Stause to talk about the relationship between her mother and the Smallville alumni.

Stause stated that Stause was not impressed by “most people’s things” and that neither party made an effort to impress her.

Her memoir Under Construction : Because Living my Best Life Took a Little Hard was published Tuesday. Stause stated that Hartley wasn’t her favorite and even gave him the wrong name.

Stause wrote, “I don’t know if she did it intentionally or as a joke, but she always called me Jacob.” Her family asked her if her ex husband had reached out to her after her mother’s death in July 2020. She recalled that she told them he hadn’t, and that I wasn’t expecting him to. But that was okay because her mom didn’t like Jacob. My mom was a great laugher, even after her death.”
