If there’s one question we’re used to at Linternaute, it’s: “Which smartphone should I buy to replace my old one that’s getting too old?” To answer this, we have already created several buying guides to guide you and advise you in your choice, according to your budget.
We could tell you about our smartphone of the year, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, but the latter is very expensive. We could also mention the latest iPhone 14, but it wouldn’t be for everyone. The Google Pixel 7 is more affordable, but suffers from a real concern about autonomy and charging.
That’s why, when the question “which smartphone to buy right now?” comes, I now have another answer in mind. Recently, I’ve been thinking of the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. Let me explain why.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G was released in March 2023. If the latter did not make too much noise, it was because it shortly followed the release of the new Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra, stars of the range of the new collection, which Samsung is further promoting at the start of each year.
First of all, aesthetically, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G marks a real evolution compared to its predecessors. The latter has seen its design improved in order to mark fewer and fewer differences with the top of the range from Samsung, namely the S23. You can also choose your A54 in four colors: Lime Yellow, Graphite Black, Lavender Blue and White.
If I recommend the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G with my eyes closed, it’s also because it has many advantages for its price. Although the latter was released at a price of 549 euros, it is regularly possible to find it on sale on certain well-known sales sites for less than 500 euros.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is also capable of producing very nice shots. Admittedly, the smartphone is less efficient than very high-end devices like the S23 Ultra or the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but it is much less expensive than the latter, while producing very nice results thanks to its 50 Mpx sensor ! Add to that a very good battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, and you have a perfectly balanced smartphone that will suit most people! You should be able to enjoy the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G for more than a day or even two if you use it fairly lightly and prioritize the battery. An excellent choice that I now recommend everywhere to those around me, as well as to the editorial staff.
