the Mayor, Femke Halsema, has written a letter to the eviction-threatened nineteen-year-old man from Amsterdam, Daniel Cook. In the letter it says that the guy has no paper work, but need to be able to walk around in Amsterdam, the netherlands.

“I have a letter written stating that this is Daniel Cook is. That he does not have papers, but he is in Amsterdam and needs to be able to walk around in, and that’s it, otherwise, contact me to be included. And with that note, I may be away. And I hope that he will now be back on the bike North ride.”
Daniel was born and raised in the Amsterdam district of Noord, but that was last month, however, is on the verge of being turned off to the Dominican Republic, is a country in which he once before had been when he was a baby. His parents had left to go abroad, and then Cook at his grandmother continued to live there.
Then the man with the purpose of studying for a passport and wanted to apply for, it turned out that he was not in possession of the Dutch nationality.
It was reported to the Immigration and Naturalisation service (IND), who invited him for an interview. His lawyer advised him not to talk, at which time he was arrested.
