Emmanuel Macron wants no slacking : the president of the Republic has asked the ministers to be “in a standby state standing” during the holidays and has decreed a “mobilization of absolute government” on the health crisis, reported the government spokesman Gabriel Attal on Wednesday.
“The health crisis is not away, there is a mobilization of absolute government in the days and weeks to come to of course continue to monitor and take the necessary measures in the face of this crisis,” warned Gabriel Attal in the minutes of the last Council of ministers before the summer holidays.

in the Face of traffic jams to get tested in some regions, notably in Ile-de-France, the government is considering, among others, requisition analysis laboratories “that do not play the game”. Regarding the instructions given to the ministers for the holidays, Gabriel Attal pointed out that “the president of the Republic has stated that it was a time which allowed the decrease of the family, with his relatives, but of course that was a time of total mobilization”.

The government spokesperson has announced that the next Council of ministers would be meeting in school on August 25 and that there would be a government seminar with the president of the Republic at the Elysée palace on 2 September.
Vacances “French” for the majority of ministers
After a year largely overwhelmed by the crisis of the sars coronavirus, the time of holidays has come for the government. During the last Council of ministers of the season, this Wednesday morning, 42 ministers and secretaries of State were gathered around the head of the State – a record since the government Raffarin III, as set out in the RTL.

During this summer break, the majority of ministers will remain in France : only Jean-Yves Le Drian to visit Spain. While Emmanuel Macron rest, as is the tradition, the fort of Brégançon, Bruno Le Maire, will go relax in Chamonix, Roselyne Bachelot in the Basque Country and Marlène Schiappa in Corsica. But despite these few days of rest, all members of the government must remain contactable and be ready to go back to Paris in case of an emergency.
