The new design of the Google Pixel 9 Pro has just leaked on social networks, even though its announcement is only expected in October 2024.
If Google has often accustomed us to information leaks regarding its new products, it is quite surprising to have leaks almost 10 months before the release of the latter. However, this is probably what has just happened with the first renderings of the next Google Pixel 9 Pro published by a famous leaker.
As a reminder, the next Google Pixel 9 are not expected before next October. So that’s almost 10 months early for a leak of their new design! This is what OnLeaks says the new Google Pixel 9 Pro would look like.
The first thing that jumps out at you is the very rounded appearance of the smartphone. The Google Pixel 9 Pro would therefore have very round edges which could make it easier to hold the device. We also see flat edges for the first time on a Pixel Pro, which is reminiscent of the design of the iPhone 13 or the latest Redmi Note 13.
The photo block also seems to have a little facelift with more rounded edges and sensors closer together which are a bit reminiscent of certain office webcams. We’ll have to wait and see if the Pixel 9 Pro is capable of taking as good photos as its predecessor and competing with the latest iPhone 15 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
