Amazon, CDiscount, Fnac… All the major brands have launched a flood of promotions on tech, mobility and home equipment products which should continue to accumulate until May 7. Created in 2018 by several major French brands, French Days represent a national response to the traditional American Black Friday. With two editions each year, French Days allow many French consumers to save money by taking advantage of exclusive promotions. The French Days usually take place twice a year. The first edition has been scheduled from April 30, 2024 from 7 a.m. until May 7 at 11:59 p.m. The event extends over 8 days in total, an additional day compared to the previous year.
The second edition generally takes place towards the end of September. It is expected around September 27, 2024 and should last until September 30. Six brands are behind the French Days: Boulanger, Fnac-Darty, Cdiscount, La Redoute, Rue du commerce and Showroomprivé. All of these brands naturally participate in these promotional offers, but they are generally not alone. Many other businesses and brands have already participated in previous editions of French Days and are returning this year, notably Electro Dépôt, Général d’Optique, Lyreco, and many other brands which are taking the opportunity to launch their own special operations to surf the French Days effect.

Fnac is one of the brands behind French Days. It is therefore logical to find the Fnac/Darty group among the many promotions that are made available during the event. Like Fnac, the Darty brand regularly participates in French Days, of which it is also at the origin.
