A federal appeals court in Boston overturned a part of the judgment of Djokhar Tsarnaev and returned his case to a court of first instance for a re-examination.
Donald Trump wants the maximum sentence. The american president demanded Sunday that the author of the bombing of the Boston marathon is again sentenced to the death penalty, criticizing the recent cancellation of his sentence by an appellate court.
“So many lives lost or ruined” : the death penalty “has rarely been so well deserved” what for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, he tweeted, as he leads a re-election campaign based on the “firmness”. “The federal government must again be seeking the death penalty (…) our country can not leave the decision of appeal in force”, he still believed.
Referring in particular to problems in the selection of jurors, a federal court of appeals in Boston overturned Friday a part of the judgment of Djokhar Tsarnaev and returned his case to a court of first instance for a re-examination. Whatever the outcome, he will remain condemned, at a minimum, the retention in perpetuity.

Record of executions federal before the election ?
Student of chechen origin, he had been sentenced to death in June 2015 to be raised, with his older brother, Tamerlan, two homemade bombs near the finish line of the Boston marathon, killing three people dead and 264 injured. His defence has always said that the young man, 19 years old at the time (27 now), was under the influence of his elder.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed by police three days after the attack, at the end of a manhunt in the suburbs of Boston. During their run, the two brothers shot and killed a police officer.
