A Hollywood producer and agent to the stars, David Guillod, has been indicted for sexual harassment, kidnapping and rape, accused by four women, according to the american justice on Monday.

at the age of 53, the producer of the films Atomic Blonde (2017) and Tyler Rake (2020), went that day to the police of Santa Barbara, California, according to his lawyer.

Kidnapping and rape

The prosecutors of the county of Santa Barbara did not release the names of complainants. The producer had been indicted for circumstances involving three women in Santa Barbara and one in Los Angeles.

He is accused of a kidnapping and a rape alleged to Santa Barbara in December 2014, during a stay in a wine growing region, according to the Los Angeles Times. It was also indicted for the alleged rape of two women drugged and unconscious for a period of 48 hours, in January 2015.

David Guillod had in the past been publicly accused by actress Jessica Barth (in the casting of the movie Ted), who claims that the producer had drugged and sexually assaulted at a meeting in 2012. The Los Angeles police department had investigated but closed the case two years later.

“Timing is suspicious”

In the wake of the anti-harassment MeToo, Jessica Barth had made public its charges, after a woman was contacted, she said, with a similar story.

“Mr. Guillod has been slandered for eight years without the opportunity to respond under oath to his accusers,” said his lawyer, Philip Cohen. “He is eager to wash its name in an appropriate context”. “We think that the pooling of these cases, and its timing suspicious,” added the lawyer.
