This Sunday evening, the two great nations of European football face each other in the final of the Nations League after having respectively eliminated the Netherlands and Italy in the semi-finals. If Spain appears as the favorite of this final, Luis de la Fuente expects a very tight confrontation as he declared in a press conference : “Basically, it will be a very balanced match, with two great teams. If we are there, it is because today we are the two best teams in Europe. Everyone will play with their arguments. Each has their qualities .” The Spain coach took the opportunity to praise the two midfielders, Rodri and Luka Modric: “For me, they are two outstanding players. I have already said that Rodri was the best central midfielder in the world. And Modric is at the top of the world. They are two of the best in the world, and even more in their position.”
