AstraZeneca has signed an agreement with the Foundation Carlos Slim “to produce between 150 and 250 million vaccines for the whole of Latin America except Brazil, which will be available for the first half of 2021,” said the officer, in a press conference. The idea is to provide the countries of Latin America a vaccine “at more reasonable prices,” between 3 and 4 dollars a dose. The office of AstraZeneca in Mexico has assured that the production of the vaccine would be “no economic benefit” to the laboratory.

More 220, 000 deaths in Latin America
Mexico is the 3rd country in the world the most bereaved with 53 929 deaths, has also announced that it has concluded new agreements with the u.s.
