While a tantalizing United States – Germany is preparing, Serbia awaits its opponent in front of the Canada – Slovenia match.

Despite the elimination of Les Bleus in the first round and then reigning world champion Spain in the second round, the Basketball World Cup continues. The surprising Latvians, who fell for Les Bleus and La Roja, were this time beaten by Germany (81-79). The Mannschaft put an end to the Latvian epic, which knew how to maintain hope in a last quarter which saw them come back almost entirely from a 14-point deficit. The Germans will face, for their first world semi-final since 2002, the United States, who crushed Italy in their quarter-final (100-63).

Finally, Serbia stifled Lithuania (87-68), yet victorious against the United States in the second group stage. The compatriots of the NBA champion and MVP of the finals Nikola Jokic, absent from this World Cup, will play against the winner of the match between Canada and Slovenia. The match can be followed on beIN Sports 1 from 2:30 p.m. this Wednesday, September 6, to find Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in particular. The semi-finals are scheduled for Friday, September 8.

All matches are broadcast by the pay channel beIN Sports. The Blues posters will be broadcast in full by BeIN Sports. FIBA offers a paid streaming service, Courtside 1891, to watch all matches of the competition.

This Basketball World Cup started on August 25 and will end on September 10, 2023.
