A13 MOTORWAY CLOSED. The A13 motorway has been reopened on its final section between Saint-Cloud and the Parisian Boulevard Périphérique after more than 24 hours of interruption, causing traffic jams and longer journey times for many motorists.

[Updated October 26, 2021 at 7:56 a.m.] Issue for motorists who take the A13 motorway daily and in particular its final section towards Paris, the Ambroise-Paré tunnel in Boulogne-Billancourt. Traffic has resumed normally, Sytadin announces before the morning peak.

The A13 motorway had been cut since Sunday evening at 6 p.m., in both directions of traffic when approaching Paris! The cut was effective on the section between Saint-Cloud and Porte d’Auteuil where the A13 joins the Parisian Boulevard Périphérique. No planned works or accidents this time since Sytadin indicated that this closure was due to a theft of cables! This theft caused problems in the operation of the mandatory safety equipment in the Ambroise-Paré tunnel in the territory of Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) where the A13 rushes to reach Paris.

The traffic jams turned out to be numerous in the south-west of Paris in the coming hours, especially since no date or time for the reopening of the A13 had been communicated. The A13 motorway has been closed since Sunday evening on the section between Saint-Cloud and the Boulevard Périphérique. The cut occurred shortly before 6 p.m., causing many traffic jams on the occasion of the weekend return and for the start of the All Saints school holidays.

If you wanted to take the A13 in the Province-Paris direction, an alternative route had been unveiled by the authorities. This alternative route leads from the town of Rocquencourt:

If you are leaving Paris, an alternative route had also been communicated following the closure of the A13 between Boulogne-Billancourt and Saint-Cloud.

Another solution, join the A13 through the A86 tunnel, a toll section and therefore paying!
