Offered since last week at Orly, antigen tests are now available at Roissy, appointments can be made from this Thursday, November 12, 2020 on the doctolib.fr platform, in a laboratory of the Cerballiance network or in a screening center in airport. Passengers will be guaranteed to obtain a result within 48 hours for an RT-PCR test and within “1h to 2h maximum” for an antigen test, specifies Paris Aéroport.

The Roissy rapid test center is located in Terminal 2E, on the departures level, opposite gate 17. It is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. As a reminder, access to the terminals is limited to passengers who must have their plane ticket. All passengers holding a nominative travel document departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle are eligible for this system, the screening test must imperatively be carried out before the check-in operations at the airport.

Terminal 2 at Roissy airport consists of six halls, numbered from 2A to 2G. The TGV-RER Airport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV station and the CDGVAL Terminal 2 station are at the center of this complex. You can move freely on foot or by free shuttle between the different halls of terminal 2 at Roissy airport. Terminal 2B at Roissy airport is under renovation until 2020.

Terminal 3 at Orly Airport is dedicated to charter and low-cost traffic: Vueling, Air Transat, Smart Wings, Jet 2… Terminal 3 is divided into 2 buildings: Departures Hall and Arrivals Hall.

Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport is located in Roissy-en-France (95700), 26 kilometers northeast of Paris. By car, you can access it directly by the A1 motorway from-to Paris (Porte de la Chapelle), by the A3 motorway from-to Paris (Porte de Bagnolet), by the A104 motorway from-to Marne-la -valley and the A4 motorway, by D104 from-to Cergy-Pontoise and by the N102 from-to Paris (Porte de la Villette). In the dozen car parks at Charles-de-Gaulle airport, parking is free for the first 10 minutes, including in the “drop-off” areas in front of each terminal. For a medium or long-term stay, it is better to opt for parking with reservation on the parisaeroport.fr website, which offers different packages adapted to long and medium-term parking. Located in the center of terminal 2, between halls 2C/2E and 2D/2F, the TGV-RER Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV station covers 5 levels.

Pedestrian access to and from terminals 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2G and the CDGVAL station is via level 4 of the TGV station. Access to terminal 1 and 3 is via the CDGVAL automatic shuttle

There are two bus stations at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport:

Two shuttles connect the Roissy-CDG airport terminals free of charge. The N1 shuttle runs 24 hours a day to terminals 2A, 2C, 2E, 2F, 2D, the PW car park, the SNCF station, the Sheraton hotel and the luggage storage, every 8 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. The N2 shuttle serves terminals 2F, 2E and 2G from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. An automatic metro, CDGVAL serves all Paris-CDG terminals free of charge from 4am to 1am. It operates 7 days a day and runs every 4 minutes. In the bonded area, shuttles also allow connecting passengers to travel from one terminal to another.

Do you want to take the bus from Paris to get to Roissy airport? Departing from Gare Montparnasse or Gare de Lyon, the Eiffel Tower, Etoile and Porte Maillot, the Bus Direct makes the journey at the single rate of €18 one way and €31 round trip. Count between 45 and 60 minutes of journey.

At a press conference, Minister of Transport Elisabeth Borne announced the postponement of the CDG Express, a train line that was originally supposed to connect Gare de l’Est (in central Paris) to Terminal 2 of Paris airport. Roissy from January 1, 2024. Finally, this project should see the light of day at the end of 2025, well after the 2024 Olympic Games as the government had initially announced.
