OPPO FIND N2. Oppo launches its first foldable phone with the Oppo Find N2 Flip. Announced in France in 2023, the latter risks overshadowing the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
On February 15, 2023, Oppo unveiled its first folding smartphone, the Oppo Find N2 Flip. This product is now expanding internationally after the success of the Find N and Find N2 series in China. A big announcement in the foldable phone industry and also a nice competition for Samsung. The new Find N series consists of two new foldable phones: The Oppo Find N2 and the Oppo Find N2 Flip. The two smartphones have two completely different formats, and only the Find N2 Flip will be available in France.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip is available for pre-order from February 24, 2023. Crease on the Oppo FINd N2 Flip is almost non-existent. This is well managed when the screen is unfolded unlike Galaxy’s foldable smartphones where it remains visible. The diagonal of the unfolded smartphone is 3.26 inches, which is considered as a wide surface on which one could perform several tasks other than checking notifications. The Find N2 Flip has a 7.1-inch inner screen, compared to its predecessor the Find N, this one boasts a brighter screen at 1550 nits and a larger 5.54-inch outer screen.
The Find N2 Flip relies on a horizontal orientation, making it more comfortable to use. Oppo describes its crease as almost invisible with reduced force and more instinctive use. Like the majority of 2022 end-of-year smartphones, it’s powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 12GB/16GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of storage. It is equipped with a Hasselblad camera array consisting of a 50MP main lens, 48MP ultra-wide shot and 32MP telephoto sensor. The Oppo Flip is powered by a 4300mAh battery that guarantees all-day battery life.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip is equipped with a Sony IMX890 sensor and a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip. It has a 50MP main camera with a large Sony IMX890 sensor and an f1.8 lens. Cover Screen allows maximum detail to be retained without cropping, and FlexForm mode can capture surroundings with dynamic angles in 4K. The imaging processor of the Fid N2 Flip is the MariSilicon X boosts the quality of images and videos at night to have much sharper results. It is possible to keep the smartphone folded for a more stable grip.
What gives the Oppo FIND N2 Flip its charm is its miniature, easily transportable design. It is made up of fewer components than the first generation. Since there are no gaps between the two hinges of the smartphone, when folded, there is no visible trace in the middle of the smartphone. Once unfolded, the fold is barely visible to the eye and barely perceptible to the touch, giving the impression of a flat screen, which is very pleasant visually and to use.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available from February 24, 2023 for pre-order and it will be marketed on February 28 on the official Oppo website in Black and Purple.
