SAN MARINO GP. No break for MotoGP with the Grand Prix of San Marino a week after the GP of Aragon which saw the first career victory of Francesco Bagnaia, author of the pole in front of Fabio Quartararo 3rd.
[Updated September 19, 2021 at 12:35 p.m.] No respite for MotoGP this weekend with a new round of the world championship at the San Marino Grand Prix. The race could be disrupted this Sunday by rain! After his first career win in the premier class, Pecco Bagnaia is back to within 53 points of Fabio Quartararo and is once again hoping to salvage points at the Misano circuit. The Italian also took pole position ahead of another Ducati, that of Jack Miller. Fabio Quartararo set the 3rd fastest time, with a fall at the end of the session. Not at all comfortable in wet conditions, “El Diablo” could lose a new joker for this GP of San Marino. On the other hand, if a driver is particularly comfortable in the rain, it is Johann Zarco. Still looking for a first success, the No. 5 must catch up after disappointing results in recent weeks.

To follow this new round of the MotoGP world championship, it’s once again on the Canal group channels. As usual, Canal will broadcast the whole weekend, with free practice on Friday 17 September and qualifying on Saturday before the race on Sunday. Free practice will be broadcast on Canal Décalé, as will qualifying, from 2:05 p.m. on Saturday, while the San Marino Grand Prix, from 1:25 p.m. on Sunday with La Grille, will be on Canal
